Manifest’s Statement of Work (SOW) solutions have the foundation of proven methodologies
resulting in the successful implementation of our IT development projects. Our delivery process
is so effective, many of our clients use it as the standard in their own organizations:
We Listen First - Our process begins by talking with our clients, gaining an
understanding of their current environment and discovering what they want to accomplish.
Our first deliverable is the document that clarifies terminology, describes the present
situation and identifies the stated objectives. This upfront effort manages expectations,
minimizes misunderstandings and expedites production.
Just In Time Staffing – Our success in IT professional services provides the strong foundation
of technical resources required for SOW. Our project teams are staffed with the resources specified
for the phase of work being performed. We bring in expertise as needed to successfully complete the
objectives. This process effectively manages our internal resource allocation and our clients' costs.
Methodology - Manifest employs a proven project management methodology, which emphasizes
communication, planning, process controls and aggressive issues resolution. This is not
"methodology" for its own sake. Our methodology was developed by professionals with years of
business and technical experience. We have been the "client"; managing both internally developed
projects and vendor lead efforts. We know what works to produce successful SOW projects.
Complete Project Documentation – Our project management methodology includes complete
documentation of the project’s scope, design, requirements, specifications, test plans and results,
implementation plans and issues management. These documents are produced in a timely manner and
presented in a clear, concise format.
Change Control – We work closely with our clients during the definition and requirements phases to
ensure all critical information is included. If our client determines the need for an additional or altered
requirement, we exercise our Change Control Process to evaluate the cost and impact of the change and provide
them with the modified information. This provides our clients the opportunity to determine whether the change
is required and if so, we revise our project plan and deliverables accordingly. We strive to make the process
as smooth as possible for our clients by keeping them informed throughout the definition, design and development
phases so the implementation of any deliverable meets their requirements.
Knowledge Transfer – Manifest’s success is derived from our SOW projects seamlessly integrating
into our client's everyday business. We have an obligation to impart knowledge gained through our
development process to our clients. We incorporate knowledge transfer into every SOW effort. We use business
and technical information to train our clients’ personnel on the use and maintenance of the system after it
has been implemented. As a result, our clients retain this critical knowledge once our project is complete.
The Project Journal – We manage the project paperwork for all of our SOW projects. The Manifest
Project Journal contains all project information from the initial proposal through the signoff document.
This includes the final, updated versions of the completed project plan, project life cycle documents, meeting
minutes and electronic mail communication among the project principles. Our Journal is the "one stop"
reference manual for your Manifest SOW project.
Warranty – We understand the need for our projects smooth transition from development into production.
We offer our clients a warranty period on all Statement of Work projects to address any follow-up and/or support
issues that occur. Our warranties are customized to accommodate the scope of the project and the needs of our
clients.
Satisfaction Guaranteed – Manifest insures complete satisfaction by escrowing 15% of the project cost until
the stated expectations have been achieved and accepted through our clients' formal sign off. This is the focus
of our shared-risk philosophy. Only our client's 100% satisfaction earns us 100% compensation.
